Open the translation room and choose browser, callback or dial-in for yourself. Your guest joins by link or receives a call.

Questions before you go live
What does the AI interpreter do?
AI Translate interprets a conversation between two people in both directions. For example, you speak German and your guest speaks Polish. Your guest hears your words in Polish and you hear their replies in German.
Does my guest need an account?
Your guest needs no Famulor account. Share the private invitation link, send an email invitation or request a call to their phone. As the host, you configure both languages and voices.
Can both people join by phone?
Yes. Browser to browser, browser to phone and two phone connections are supported. Callbacks require an outgoing number connected to the agent. You can also follow the transcript in your browser.
How does dial-in with a room code work?
As the host, start the room first. Then call the incoming number assigned to your Translate agent and enter the six-digit room code shown in the room.
Which languages and voices can I choose?
Availability depends on the language models and voices enabled for your workspace. Each voice must support the other person’s language. The Translate editor filters compatible library voices and authorized cloned voices.
Are conversations recorded?
You can enable or disable recording in the agent settings. Consent requests are separate: when enabled, recording waits for both people to agree. The recording captures your side, with your original speech and your guest’s translated replies.
How is AI Translate billed?
Your workspace’s talk-time rate and translation surcharge apply. Phone charges are added per actual phone connection: one for browser to phone, two for two phone participants. Access to the engine depends on your plan.
