Is the migration really free?
Yes. The migration wizard is 100% free — including unlimited assistants. You only pay for actual call minutes once you start dialing on Famulor, starting at €0.11/min.
Does Famulor read my VAPI API key?
Your key is sent through our server-side proxy to api.vapi.ai to list and read your assistants. We never write it to a database or log it. Close the tab and the key is gone.
What gets copied across?
Assistant name, first message, system prompt (model.systemPrompt or messages[0]), model + temperature, voice provider + voiceId + speed + stability, transcriber language, silence timeout, max duration and voicemail message. Tools and external functions are listed so you can reconnect them in Famulor.
What about Squads or Workflows?
Squads and Workflows don't have a 1:1 equivalent — Famulor's flow builder is drag-and-drop and works differently. We migrate the assistant shell so you can rebuild the flow in Famulor, which most teams find faster anyway.
Will my VAPI assistants keep working?
Yes. We only read from VAPI — we never modify or delete anything in your VAPI account. You can run both side-by-side as long as you want.
Can I migrate my phone numbers too?
Twilio and Vonage numbers used in VAPI can be ported into Famulor (free of charge, takes 5–10 days). For testing, you can buy a Famulor number in-app for €4.99/month.
Is Famulor GDPR compliant?
Yes. Famulor is German-hosted (AWS Frankfurt), offers a signed DPA, and supports EU SCCs. Calls are never sent to US-only LLMs unless you explicitly opt in.
